A.H.I. Construction, Inc. is a full-service construction/contracting and construction management company that has been serving the community since its inception in 2003. We provide residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental construction services with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Our Story

Our founder and president, Mark Adams, is a Bay Area native turned Sacramento entrepreneur who has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Raised in Richmond, California, Mark has built a life for himself and his family in Sacramento, and he is committed to making a positive impact in the community through his work. Mark currently holds more than 8 contracting licenses and has successfully managed over 80 projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Mark's journey has not been without its challenges, and he believes that success is hard-earned but also a privilege granted by God and those who have come before him. His dedication to heritage, faith, and community has led him to use his experiences to promote opportunities for underserved youth and support other local small businesses. Mark has served as a board member and board chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento, as well as a board member for Next-Ed (formerly Linking Education and Economic Development, or LEED). He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and the founder of the Urban Empowerment Academy, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth the tools and trades of construction through education and on-the-job training.
