Our founders, Martha Channer and Craig Mitchell, are a husband-and-wife team that brings a unique set of skills and talents to the world of contemporary design. As accomplished fine artists, Martha and Craig bring an original and inspiring aesthetic to the field of contemporary design. Whether working on commercial or residential projects, their progressive spatial concepts, careful attention to detail, and delicious color palettes come together to create a unique synergy that we refer to as the science of design.

Our Story

Martha Channer, our Art Director, brings over twenty-eight years of design experience to each new project. Educated in the fine arts at Chicago's School of The Art Institute, Martha started her first design company doing fine art murals and decorative applications. Her extensive background in fine arts and her passion for teaching and presenting on art, art history, color design, interior design, and art marketing make her a valuable asset to our team.

Craig Mitchell, our Design/Build Manager, has a unique background that combines engineering and fine art training. With a creative approach to materials and a love for nature, Craig's design style is both practical and aesthetic. His extensive experience in building custom homes and working as a sculptor makes him an expert in spatial design.
