Our Story

Our company was founded by T.J. Cloud, who moved to Temple, Texas in 1917 and began his business career in real estate and financing. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he returned to Temple and resumed his activities in real estate, construction, and other ventures. In 1942, he incorporated his construction operation under the name of Temple Housing Corporation, and in 1958, the name was changed to Cloud Construction Company, Inc. Throughout the years, the company has been guided by a philosophy of honesty, fair dealings, professional performance, and quality workmanship.

Our management team is a dynamic blend of young, creative thinkers and veteran professionals with years of experience. This team is reinforced by an outstanding crew of field personnel, each with high degrees of construction experience and capability. Many of our management and field personnel have long tenures of service with the company, some for more than thirty years, and many for more than a decade. Our team is dedicated to continuing the legacy of excellence established by our founders.
