An excellent example of how CSC views its responsibilities to its employees is the English classes CSC sponsored for its Hispanic workers. CSC held English classes on its premises under the auspices of the local community college. Since Joy Wright is a certified English teacher, she taught the classes. The classes were well attended, and some employees brought their wives. The classes were suspended when the daylight working hours increased and the employees asked to work longer days, but Joy continues to provide English lessons to employees on an as-needed basis.
