Gray & Company was founded in 1973 by brothers Paul and Phil Gray, who leveraged their artistic backgrounds into residential painting. Over the years, the company grew to focus on commercial and industrial painting, completing notable projects such as the renovation of the Kansas House of Representatives chamber and the expansion of the Lansing Correctional Facility. In 1995, the business changed its name to Gray & Company as it expanded its geographical reach and increased its team. Today, the company is committed to providing quality services and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in painting, covering, and coating. With a strong focus on safety, the company ensures that all employees complete rigorous OSHA training to guarantee jobsite safety.

Meet the Team

Our management team includes Walker Gray, who serves as President and has been with the company since 2004. Phil Gray, the company's Co-Founder and current Treasurer, has been instrumental in the company's growth. Other key members include Dave Miller, who oversees commercial estimating and project management, and Scott Schafersman, who brings 17 years of experience in the industry.
