At Mat Su Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance, we are a family-owned and operated business that has been proudly serving the Mat Su Valley for over 20 years. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality landscaping and lawn maintenance services to both residential and commercial properties.

Our Story

Our journey began when my wife, Luanne, and I moved to Alaska in 1978. We have been residing in Wasilla for over 20 years, with both of us having lived in Alaska for over 40 years. We have a deep connection with the community and are committed to making the Mat Su Valley a beautiful place to live.

Our Team

We are a full-service lawn maintenance and landscaping company, offering a wide range of services to cater to the unique needs of our customers. Our team includes our three children, Mary, Marguerite, and Matthew, who have grown up in Alaska and share our passion for delivering exceptional service. Our daughter, Mary, who is hearing impaired, and I started Mat-Su Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance 10 years ago. As we grew, my wife joined us full-time, along with our daughter, Marguerite. Marguerite and her husband, Collin, run our lawn maintenance department, maintaining over 125 lawns per week. Our daughter, Mary, helps Luanne plant and maintain all the flower beds for customers.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services that cater to both summer and winter seasons. Our summer services include:

• Flowers: We provide and plant flowers for both commercial and residential properties, with an option to maintain flower beds throughout the summer.
• Lawn Maintenance: We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and 2-week lawn maintenance services, including mowing, trimming, cleanup, and fertilizing.
• Fertilizing: We provide three fertilizes per year to promote healthy lawn growth.
• Aerating: Our aerating service helps restore lawns to a healthy state, reducing soil compaction and allowing nutrients to filter through the lawn.
• Thatching: Our thatching service removes dead grass, leaves, and sticks, promoting healthy lawn growth.

In the winter, we offer:

• Snow Removal: We provide snow removal services for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring safe and accessible walkways and parking lots.
• Power Sweeping: Our power sweeping service keeps parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, decks, porches, and curbs clean and free of debris.

Spring and Fall Cleanup

As part of our services, we also offer spring and fall cleanup services to ensure your property is pristine and prepared for the changing seasons. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, and we pride ourselves on making sure our customers are completely satisfied with our work.

Winter Maintenance

As part of our winter services, we offer snow removal services for both residential and commercial properties. Our team is equipped to handle snow removal needs, ensuring safe and accessible walkways and parking lots. We also provide sanding when needed to keep your parking lot safe for your customers.
