Our History and Mission

Established in 1982, J. Downend Landscaping, Inc. began as a small, neighborhood landscape firm in Delaware County. As the Philadelphia metropolitan area grew, we grew with it, adapting to meet the increasing demand of our customers. Today, we are a full-service landscape design, construction, horticulture, and maintenance firm, employing up to 95 employees during our months of operation. Our team includes in-house staff of talented and experienced landscape designers who serve as project managers, working closely with our clients to ensure that the design intent created on paper is the end result through construction.
