How We Work

At North Star Remodeling, we believe in honesty, transparency, and clear communication. We follow a well-defined process designed to ensure a successful project:

1. First Contact: Reach out to us via phone, email, or visit our showroom for an initial contact with our office staff.

2. No-Cost Meeting: Our designer will visit you in your home to discuss your ideas, desires, and budget. We will also discuss the materials needed for your project, including windows, doors, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and appliances.

3. Feasibility Study: For a moderate fee, we will prepare a feasibility study to determine the project's feasibility based on your desires and budget. This study includes a basic sketch of the space and an initial estimate with realistic allowances for all subcontractors.

4. Retainer & Final Estimate: Once the retainer agreement is signed, we will proceed with project design, detailed measuring, and several meetings to finalize the plans. We will provide a firm estimate based on your specified materials, such as cabinets, countertops, appliances, windows, doors, fixtures, and finishes.

5. Contract, Down-Payment & Payment Schedule: Once all specifications and plans are finalized, you will sign a contractual specification sheet and financial agreement and make a down payment. We will provide a schedule of payments based on the progress of our work.

6. Start of Project: We will acquire any necessary building permits and our craftsmen and materials will arrive on-site to begin the project, working steadily toward job completion.

7. Project Progression: Our team will stay in contact with you throughout the project, providing updates and ensuring your satisfaction with the final product.
