Clearing drains, one pipe at a time!

Who We Are

The RE Store is more than just a retail store. We're a community-powered initiative aimed at empowering people and preserving resources through the art of reuse. Since 1993, we've been rescuing materials from landfills and offering them at affordable prices to the public.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

  • Divert reusable building materials from the landfill.
  • Promote a culture of reuse in our community.
  • Provide accessible and affordable materials to people of all income levels.
  • Support job training and create employment opportunities.

What We Offer

Our diverse offerings include:

  • Salvage Services: We provide sustainable alternatives to demolition by offering pick-ups, strip-outs, and tear-downs of building materials.
  • Reuse Resources: We have a retail store filled with salvaged building materials, vintage decor, and various other reusable items.
  • Manufacturing Waste Diversion: We partner with local manufacturers to divert usable materials from the landfill through innovative methods.
  • Job Training Program: We offer paid, on-site job training to empower people to find long-term, fulfilling employment.

Our Values

At the heart of The RE Store lie four core values:

  • Reuse: We promote the mindful reuse of materials to reduce waste and environmental impact.
  • Community: We value the incredible people who make up our diverse community and actively support them.
  • Resilience: We foster the ability to overcome challenges and bounce back from adversity.
  • Equity: We stand against oppression in all its forms and actively promote inclusivity.
