At Kohler Architecture, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients, community, and each other. Our story began in August 1977, when Architect John D. Kohler founded the firm in Monroe County. Since then, we have grown into a family-operated business, with a strong focus on community roots. Our team is proud of the diverse backgrounds and experiences brought by our staff, who have chosen Kohler Architecture as their career company.

Our Team

Our team consists of experienced professionals, each bringing unique skills and perspectives to the table. Mark Kohler, a Technical Design Principal and Partner, has over three decades of experience in the industry. Keith Kohler, also a Principal and Partner, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. Victoria Capranica, Architect and Designer, has over 10 years of experience, having studied abroad in Florence, Italy. James Wolowiec, Technical Detailer, brings a solid foundation of construction experience, while Woody Hoffer, Architect and Designer, has 14 years of experience, including studying abroad in Volterra, Italy. Julie Serda, Technical Detailer, joined us in 2023, and Kathy Sortor, Administrative Assistant, has over 25 years of diverse background. Lauren Reaume, Architectural Technician, is our newest addition, having recently graduated from the University of Michigan.
