Our journey began in the mid-1960s when Wayne and Joyce Davis started a small business, cleaning out chicken houses, doing small grading, and asphalt paving projects.
In 1971, the first ready mix plant was opened in Tallapoosa, Georgia, a location that we still operate today. Over the past five decades, our company has grown steadily, and we have remained true to our founding principles of hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Today, Wayne Davis Concrete is the leading privately-held, family-operated ready mix concrete supplier in North West Georgia.
Our History
Our history is a testament to our commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community development. We started with one ready mix plant and a few employees, but over the years, we have expanded our operations to include 19 ready mix plants, over 110 ready mix trucks, and employ approximately 350 people.
Throughout our growth, we have maintained our family business philosophy, focusing on building relationships, trust, and providing top-notch service to our customers. We believe in adopting the latest technology to ensure that we deliver the highest quality ready mix concrete products to our customers.
