Our Story

At Lee Highway Nursery, we take pride in our commitment to exceptional customer service. With over 130 years of combined experience, our team of experts in landscape design, horticulture, and turf services is dedicated to enhancing your outdoor living space. Our team consists of Virginia Certified Horticulturists, Turf specialists, and other professionals who are passionate about creating beautiful and sustainable landscapes.

Meet the Team

Our team is led by Chad Lohr, a Virginia Tech graduate with over 20 years of experience in landscape and turf management. Chad Smith, Operations Manager, brings over 27 years of experience in horticulture, and James Utz, Lawn Care and Plant Health Manager, has over a decade of experience in lawn and plant care. Mary Austin, Designer, is a Virginia Certified Horticulturist with over 41 years of experience in the landscape industry. Our Office Administrators, Lisa Jordan and Cathy Tasker, bring over 50 years of combined experience in office administration and accounting.
