Our story began on July 4th, 1997, when Roy and Shelley Eklund, the founders of A&E, started the company with a single truck and one dispatcher. Roy, a graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, had extensive experience in the HVAC industry, having worked for various companies including Austin Industrial Refrigeration and Petrocelli Service.
