Our History

FischerSIPS was founded in 1986 by Fred Fischer, a seasoned builder and engineer. Shortly after, in 1990, we joined forces with a group of SIP manufacturers to form the Structural Insulated Panels Association (SIPA). This partnership allowed us to contribute to the development and advancement of SIP technology, while also staying at the forefront of industry standards and best practices.

In 1993, Damian Pataluna joined our team as a salesman, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise that would help us continue to grow and expand our operations. Just a few years later, in 1997, we partnered with Samson Homes to form one of the early SIP Modular plants in the United States.

In 2006, Damian purchased the company from Fred Fischer and has been serving as our CEO and daily operations manager ever since. Under his leadership, we have continued to innovate and improve our products and services, while also maintaining our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
