Havel Excavating, Inc. is a family-owned and operated excavating business that has been serving the Twin Cities Metro Area for over 45 years. Our team, led by owner-operator Denny Havel, has extensive experience in commercial and residential excavating, land clearing, demolition, and removal of buildings, as well as sewer and water connections.

Denny Havel started working for his father, who founded D. G. Havel Excavating, Inc. in 1971, when Denny was just a young boy. Denny fell in love with operating big machinery and knew that this would be his career path. In 2008, Denny purchased the business from his father and renamed it Havel Excavating, Inc.

At Havel Excavating, we have built our business on successfully meeting the challenges of tough site preparation and commercial and residential excavating projects. We have the experience and equipment to meet your demanding site development requirements. Denny is a firm believer in saying what you do and doing what you say, and he has over 35 years of experience in the construction business to prove it.
