Faubel Construction Inc. has been building, renovating, and restoring exceptional homes for more than 20 years. Although our roots are in Mill Valley, we offer our services throughout Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, and the Peninsula. We take pride in being a self-performing company; rather than outsource, we put the talents of our own highly skilled employees to use on every project. Our company was founded on the vision and philosophy of our founder and owner, Ed Faubel. Ed oversees every stage of every project - he is often found on site making decisions and managing the foremen, and his calm presence and unshakeable ability to stay focused, positive, and grounded set the tone on every jobsite and in all FCI operations. Ed's professional life began in the trenches with picks and shovels - he worked his way up the ladder as an apprentice, and as a young man he had a partnership with a Graduate Master Builder who was his mentor for six years. During this time Ed gained expertise in all aspects of the trade; he earned his contractors license in 1989 and started his own business that same year.

A lifelong Marin County resident, Ed has been married to a fellow Marin native for 25 years and is the father of two teenage girls. He currently lives in Mill Valley, where he's an active member of the community. Ed is dedicated to creating beautiful living environments that directly reflect the taste, lifestyle, and vision of our clients. He combines traditional craftsmanship with the use of cutting-edge technology and strict adherence to trusted environmental standards, ensuring that our work is flawless and that our process is efficient and forward-looking.
