Our History

Founded in 2008, HEJ Construction Company, Inc. was established by Willie Griffith Jr., a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. With a strong background in highway construction, Willie's passion for building and creating was inspired by his family's involvement in the industry. He earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Kentucky and contributed to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's Construction Department for over a decade. Under Willie's leadership, HEJ Construction Company, Inc. has grown into a reputable and reliable construction firm, committed to delivering exceptional services to its clients.
