Our solid wood pieces are built to withstand the test of time and are crafted from the finest hardwoods, including Red Oak, Quarter Sawn White Oak, Cherry, Brown Maple, Hard Maple, and Hickory.

While we can build items from a variety of hardwoods, custom-built pieces take time to build. On average, you can expect to wait about 8 to 16 weeks for your order, depending on the time of year. Remember, these items are being built for you at the time of your order and are not warehoused. You are buying a one-of-a-kind, original masterpiece created for you and your family to enjoy for a lifetime and beyond.

At Northern Oak Amish Furniture, we understand that every piece of wood has its unique characteristics, including variation in color and grain. We strive to bring out the natural beauty and character of each piece of wood, making each item unique and original. Because our furniture is real solid wood, it will expand and contract with changes in humidity, and we recommend keeping indoor humidity in the 35-40% range to minimize such effects. Direct sunlight and fluorescent fixtures containing ultra-violet rays should also be avoided to protect your investment.
