D.F. Richard Energy is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1932. Founded during the Great Depression by Daniel F. Richard, the company began as a home heating oil delivery service and heating equipment repair business. Daniel, his wife Armande, and their children ran the business out of their home on Broadway. Armande managed the bookkeeping, while Daniel focused on delivering 5-gallon cans of home heating oil and servicing heating equipment.

Over the years, the company has evolved and grown, always striving to provide exceptional customer relationships, reasonable prices, and premier products and services. Today, D.F. Richard Energy has expanded its offerings to include propane gas delivery and service, heating and air conditioning installation and service, and a range of smart programs and service protection plans.
