Our Story
Our company was founded by Joe Knott, a former agricultural inspector, in 1981. With over 50 years of experience in the industry, Joe developed his passion, knowledge, and expertise in entomology, insect identification, pest control techniques, and pesticide regulation. After retiring from the County of San Diego Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures, Joe founded Knott's Pest Control, Inc. and was joined by his three sons, Donald, Deron, and Brian. Today, the company is proudly run by Joe's son, Deron Knott, who has been around pest control since childhood and has been a licensed Applicator for 25 years.
