Our Story

Our journey began over four decades ago, when our founder, Russ Turpin, started his passion for homebuilding. With a strong foundation in carpentry, Russ honed his skills through the four-year apprentice program in the Carpenters Union, gaining hands-on experience in virtually all phases of construction. This intense apprenticeship laid the groundwork for his future success, allowing him to build a wide range of residential projects, from luxurious estates to production homes.

As Russ gained more experience, he began to develop a keen eye for design and an understanding of the importance of a well-planned space. He invested countless hours in honing his CAD design skills, which has enabled him to bring his clients' visions to life through detailed 3D models and budget-friendly estimates.

In 2016, Russ and his wife, Pam Turpin, joined forces to form Custom Touch Builders, LLC. Like Russ, Pam has a passion for building strong relationships with her clients, and her exceptional organizational skills ensure seamless project management. With her at the helm of the office, the Tpurins have become a well-oiled machine, delivering outstanding results and exceeding expectations.
