We have been proudly serving the Palouse region since 1983. Our dedicated team, led by founders Stephen Holstad and his wife Donna, is committed to providing top-quality plants, supplies, and expert advice to help you create the garden of your dreams.

Our journey began with Stephen's passion for landscaping, which started as a way to save up for college by mowing lawns and doing other landscaping work during high school. As his business grew, he found it increasingly inconvenient to drive to Spokane to purchase the necessary plants and equipment. This led him to open up SYG's physical location in 1998. Donna, who had previously worked for CellularOne, joined the company as its CFO after taking time off to care for their children.

At SYG Nursery & Landscaping, we offer a wide range of services and products to cater to all your gardening needs. We have a huge inventory of landscape and garden supplies, including annuals & perennials, trees & shrubs, bulk bark, rock & compost. Many of our bedding plants and veggie starts are grown right here in our facility, ensuring that they are healthy, robust, and well-cared for.

We also carry organic potting soil, fertilizer, compost & amendments, seed starting products, irrigation supplies, animal repellents & pest control products. To add a touch of elegance to your garden, we offer statuary, decorative pots & bird baths. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always ready to help you with your gardening projects, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure your garden thrives.
