Rooms, Blooms and More is an antique and fine home furnishing consignment, special event floral design, and interior design business located in Hilton Village in Newport News, Virginia. Our storefront, which opened in 2002, is owned by a mother and daughter team, Karan Mulkey and Allison Hund, and consistently voted one of Hampton Roads' favorites.
Our Story
Karan has a knack for decorating and design that can be traced back to her KD chapter room at Auburn. For over 25 years, she's been creating. Whether it is a room in someone's home, flowers for an event, art on a canvas, or her volunteer work at numerous organizations, anything Karan touches is subject to her artistic and creative enthusiasm. She opened Rooms, Blooms & More in June of 2002. After graduating from Clemson University, Allison decided to make a pit stop at home to help her mother figure out how to get a hold of the rapidly growing storefront. Allison's "pit stop" is now permanent. Together with a passel of friends that help run the shop, Allison and Karan are still learning and creating.

We have more than 25 years of experience in floral design for special events and have provided flowers for countless special events, private gatherings, and corporate events. Our passion for design has helped Rooms, Blooms and More become one of the most reputable sources for residential interior design in Hampton Roads. Inspired by the antiques and home furnishings in our retail shop, we have created design solutions for projects of every size.
