Space Center Storage is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing storage solutions to the Kentucky community since 1974. Our first mini-storage facility was established near the intersection of Nicholasville and New Circle Roads in Lexington, and since then, we have expanded to 12 locations throughout Kentucky, including 10 stores in Lexington, KY, as well as locations in the Fern Creek area of Louisville, KY, and Shelbyville, KY.

At Space Center Storage, we take pride in being a local business that managers our stores on-site. Our team of professional and courteous managers is trained and skilled in helping determine the correct type and size of storage that will best fit your needs. We pay particular attention to make sure that our stores are clean, comfortable, and secure for our customers and their belongings. Our facilities offer traditional self-storage units for items that you would be comfortable storing in a garage type area and temperature-controlled storage spaces for more sensitive items like electronics and furniture.

Our Services

At Space Center Storage, we offer a range of storage solutions to fit your needs. Our traditional self-storage units come in a variety of sizes, from 5x5 to 12x40, which are suited for items that you would be comfortable storing in a garage type area. Our temperature-controlled storage spaces have thermostats kept between 60 and 79 degrees, and are ideal for more sensitive items like electronics, furniture, and artwork. These units are available in sizes from 5x5 to 10x40, and are available at select locations.

All of our facilities offer wide, well-lit driveways, lighting inside many of our units, and electronic gate access. We also have closed-circuit camera systems and accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Our facilities offer 24-hour access to your storage unit, and we never charge a security deposit or admin fees to rent a storage unit at Space Center Storage. Our lease agreement is on a month-to-month basis, so there is no long-term commitment.

At Space Center Storage, we have everything you need for storage. We sell boxes, mattress bags, packing supplies, and locks, and offer affordable tenant insurance through Xercor Insurance Services. Our facilities offer expanded evening and weekend office hours, and our managers are available to discuss your storage needs with you.
