Coast Transfer and Storage has been an official network agent of Mayflower since 1960. Over the past 60 years, we have built and maintained close relationships with our customers in Ventura County and beyond. Our story began in 1949 when Bud Bower, a World War II Veteran, started Ojai Trucking Company along with his wife, Noreen. The Bowers resided in Ojai with their four children, Diane, Dwayne, Gene, and Susan. As the family trucking company grew, they moved the business from their home office to a warehouse in Meiners Oaks and eventually to a large warehouse in Ojai. In 1962, Ojai Van Lines became an agent for Mayflower Transit. In 1978, Diane, the Bowers' daughter, purchased the business along with her husband Bill Clegg. Bill and Diane's sons, Todd and Trisha, now own and operate Coast Transfer and Storage, maintaining the family tradition of excellent service.
