Our History

Since 1978, CTW Designs has established itself as the leading provider of decorative building materials in Marin and Sonoma Counties. What began as Ceramic Tile World in a bustling Novato neighborhood, blossomed into a pioneer in tile and stone landscaping. Driven by the growing demand for these materials in residential and commercial construction, CTW quickly outgrew its initial space. In 1982, the company relocated to its present-day Bel Marin Keys location, strategically designed to offer convenient freeway access for tile and stone contractors in the Marin area.

Over the decades, CTW has witnessed the increasing popularity of tile and stone in home and business design. This surge in demand fueled the company's expansion and the development of a comprehensive selection of products. In 2000, CTW Designs significantly broadened its offerings by introducing an extensive range of decorative plumbing fixtures and vanity cabinets, catering to the evolving needs of discerning customers. Recognizing that a complete bathroom and kitchen remodeling experience demanded a wider range of options, CTW further enhanced its services in 2016 to include kitchen cabinets and cabinet hardware. As a result, CTW Designs has become a one-stop shop for all design and material requirements. Today, the company proudly serves a wider customer base spanning Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties.
