Our Company

At Williams Paving, we are proud of our history as a family-owned and operated company. Our founder, Bill Williams, started the company in 1974 and grew it into a multi-million dollar operation by the early 1990s. Chris Williams joined the company in 1976 and brought with him the latest paving technology, allowing the company to become the first in Western Massachusetts to use the new line of self-propelled driveway paving machines.

In 2018, founder Bill Williams sold the company to trusted long-time employee and step son, Brendan McGonagle. Brendan is committed to carrying on the principles that have made Williams Paving a success, while bringing a new energy to its growth. Bill continues to work closely with the company as a consultant and project manager, ensuring that our customers receive the same high level of service that they have come to expect from Williams Paving.
