Founded in 1930, Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co. was incorporated by William M. Murphy in Spokane, Washington. The company played a crucial role in revolutionizing the construction industry by introducing the first truck-mounted concrete mixers in the Northwest in 1935. In 1981, Central Pre-Mix entered the asphalt paving business by acquiring Inland Asphalt Company, another locally owned company that was founded in 1934. Since then, we have expanded our locations throughout Spokane, Yakima, Richland, and Coeur d'Alene.
