Davenport Excavation was founded in 1984 by Doug Davenport, who transitioned from the family farm to establish a reputation for reliable earth-moving services. With over 35 years of experience in southern Vermont and upstate New York, the company has evolved under the leadership of Ryan Davenport, Dougs son, who took ownership in 2016. Our team combines generational expertise with modern techniques, holding certifications such as Vermont State Licensed Designer for water and wastewater systems and Vermont Shoreline Act Certified Contractor.
