Our Expertise

Our expertise lies in our ability to provide quality interior finish work, door and hardware installation, and millwork installation. We have worked with many Central New Hampshire general contractors, including Bonnette, Page & Stone, Harvey Construction Corp., North Branch Construction, Eckman Construction, and Cobb Hill Construction, to name a few. We also install for millwork shops, including A. P. Dailey, Aubin Woodworking, and Eaton Door. Our History

Gilman Carpentry, LLC was founded by Richard Gilman, who comes from a construction-oriented family. With a passion for building things from a young age, Richard began his career as a laborer and quickly rose through the ranks to become a foreman. After gaining extensive experience in residential and commercial projects, Richard founded Gilman Carpentry in 1998 in Hancock, Maine. The business later moved to New Hampshire, where we continued to focus on new home construction during the housing boom. As the market shifted, we adapted our services to meet the demands of commercial projects, perfecting our system for installing doors, windows, and cabinets with unmatched quality.
