At Johnsye White Interior Design, Inc., we are dedicated to providing exceptional and personalized design services to our clients. Our founder, Johnsye White, is a native North Carolinian who has always had a passion for art and architecture. With a background in Studio Art and Art History from Queens University, and a teaching certificate in Art Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Johnsye began her career as a lateral entry art teacher in the public schools of North Carolina.

While teaching, she pursued her interest in Interior Design, earning a degree from Meredith College. During her studies, she gained valuable experience through an internship in hospitality design and a full-time position as a sales representative for high-end oriental rugs. Her love for rugs remained a significant part of her design as she worked for a prestigious residential design firm, where she realized her true calling.

In 2003, Johnsye decided to open her own design studio, Johnsye White Interior Design, Inc., in Moore County, North Carolina. She was motivated by the exciting opportunity to create a studio that would enable her to design in partnership with clients as opposed to merely designing for them. She believes in not just designing a space, but creating an environment that reflects the personality, emotions, and values of her clients.

Our Services

Johnsye White Interior Design, Inc. is a full-service interior design studio offering residential and commercial design. We are an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers and regularly attend educational seminars and trade shows to stay current with the latest trends and technologies.

Our services include consultation, drafting, space planning, color selection, kitchen and bath design, countertop selection, flooring and area rugs, lighting plans and selection of fixtures, construction oversight, selection of architectural finishes, furniture placement and accessorizing, furniture purchases, custom bedding, and window treatments. We have a full library to enable you to purchase directly through our company or we can select and purchase elsewhere.

We take pride in our unique background of art education and interior design, which allows us to create the total environment through space planning, lighting, color, finishes, furniture, and art. Whether you're looking to renovate your home or design a new office space, we're here to help you express yourself through your environment.
