Our History

What began as a solo venture by Dennis Yates in Concord, North Carolina, grew into Yates Chreitzberg Architects with the arrival of Mike Chreitzberg in 1987. Mike brought valuable experience from a national firm, adding a new dimension to the company's design approach. As the firm continued to flourish, it welcomed Bill Hughes in 1995, who has dedicated his entire career to YCH Architects. Bill's contributions and dedication were recognized when he became a principal, solidifying the company's identity as Yates Chreitzberg Hughes, or YCH Architects.
