Our Story
We weren't always the large paving company we are today with a wide selection of high-quality tools and materials to handle any paving job. When Leon Slade and Elmo Chesley started the company in 1979, it was a small custom paving business. Roadrunner Paving started by helping out others who needed paving work but who didn't have the equipment to do it themselves. Some of our earliest projects included residential and arterial streets, parking lots, and overlays.
Over the years, we have increased our capacity by adding different types of equipment. Once we purchased the Lee Boy 8500, we were able to take on smaller and tighter projects. Today, Roadrunner Paving and Asphalt Maintenance is a well-established company that specializes in various aspects of asphalt paving and maintenance. We take pride in the fact that we are a second-generation family-owned and operated company that takes pride in our long-standing commitment to quality and workmanship and our presence in the industry.

Concerns with Drivers and Work Practices
Several reviewers expressed concerns about the company's drivers and work practices. Randy Mann, a former employee, claimed that crew members use drugs on the job, which could compromise safety. Derek Peterson and Michael Biller cited reckless driving and aggression on the road, with Peterson's brand new truck being damaged by asphalt debris. The Tactical Puerto Rican reported a near-miss incident with a driver who allegedly tried to run them off the road.
