Liberty Electric

Liberty Electric was founded in 1979 in Chester, MT by Marvin Wilson. The business consisted of one 1967 pickup, a few tools, and approximately $4,000 of inventory. Today, Liberty Electric is owned by Janice Couch and Clay Ledbetter. Over the years, Liberty Electric has evolved into the premier electrical contractor in North Central and Western Montana, with locations in Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman, and Fort Benton.

Our Team

The core of Liberty Electric field employees are composed of fully-licensed electricians. They are supported by a number of apprentices and general laborers. We employ three graduates of the prestigious Purdue University Project Management for Electricians course. Our electricians hold many select industry certifications and are licensed in Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming.
