Our Story

Our journey began in May 2018, when our founder, Ruben Drotzmann, was looking for a way to make a little extra money to help pay for college expenses while still having time for classes and homework. As a student at Arizona State University, he recognized the struggles of his fellow students who were also trying to balance their academic responsibilities with financial burdens.

With a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to help others, Ruben started Moving Through College, a moving company staffed by college students like himself. Today, our team has expanded to include more students who share the same goals of paying off college expenses and limiting their debt.

Local Moves Only (Phoenix Metropolitan Area)

Our local moves involve 2-4 movers who will efficiently load and unload your belongings, providing you with the peace of mind you need during a stressful time.

Labor & Truck (Phoenix Metropolitan Area)

If you're looking for an affordable way to have your belongings moved without doing the heavy lifting, we offer labor and truck services. Our team will load and unload your belongings onto the truck, taking care of the logistics and ensuring a smooth moving experience.

Long Distance (100+ Miles)

For moves over 100 miles, we provide a moving truck, load your belongings, and deliver and unload your belongings in a timely manner.
