Mitas Furniture is a family-owned business located in the beautiful Sandy River Gorge in Corbett, Oregon. Our story began over 35 years ago when Fritz Mitas, the founder, decided to follow his passion for designing and building high-quality furniture and cabinets. Since then, we have been dedicated to creating unique pieces that reflect our customers' styles and spaces.

Fritz lives and works on a 20-acre property where he built his home using maple, fir, and alder from the property in cabinets and other architectural details. He is currently focusing on cultivating and utilizing wood grown and milled on his property, aiming to make our furniture more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
