Our Story
Our owner, Brad, discovered his passion for woodworking and building furniture by accident. What started as a simple spice rack turned into a burning passion for his craft. Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, Brad spent his childhood doing weekend projects and traveling to job sites with his dad, a carpenter for 40 years. After serving in the United States Air Force for 8 years, Brad knew it was time to follow his passion and build furniture full-time, leading to the creation of The Knotty Log.
Our Services
We offer a range of custom furniture services, including dining room tables, office desks, epoxy tables with live edges, and more. Our process is all about collaboration, creativity, and functional design. We work closely with our clients to bring their ideas to life, using only the finest materials and attention to detail. Our simple 4-step process makes ordering custom furniture a breeze.
Step 1: Design Collaboration
We start with a design meeting to discuss your ideas and develop a budget. If you have images of a piece you want, we'll provide a quote. If you're unsure, we offer a furniture design service for $250, drafting 3D models of a piece based on a combination of our ideas.
Step 2: Create a Quote
We take your ideas and create a quote with an approximate delivery date.
Step 3: Place Your Order
To place an order, we'll send you a deposit invoice that's easily payable online for 50% of the total cost.
