Our commitment to quality and craftsmanship sets us apart from our competitors. We pay special attention to subsoils, excavating the proper amount of soil and replacing it with clean, granular material that we compact to act as a solid base. This system also aids in draining moisture, a critical element in slab construction. We ensure that slab thickness is adequate to support the intended load, with driveways and garage floors being at least 5 inches thick, sidewalks and patios at 4 inches, and steps at a minimum of 6 inches.

To prevent cracking and ensure that the concrete works within the design of the slab, we place control joints in the concrete. Additionally, we use steel reinforcing rods to enhance the strength of the concrete and minimize the effects of sub-grade movement from settling or frost heaving. Finally, we cure all of our concrete work to achieve a uniform appearance and aid in the ultimate strength development of the materials.
