Welcome to the Wausau Area Builders Association, a professional non-profit trade association dedicated to serving the community and representing the interests and concerns of the building industry. Established in 1967, we are affiliated with the Wisconsin Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. Our primary goal is to provide quality, affordable housing through community and government involvement, while promoting high standards of professionalism.

Our members include professionals from various sectors of the building industry, such as builders, developers, suppliers, utilities, architects, lenders, electricians, insurance agencies, landscapers, and kitchen cabinet manufacturers. Our association is committed to building community as strongly as we do houses. We donate our time and financial resources to community projects, invest in the future of our industry by working with area schools, and distribute area scholarships annually.
