Our History

Wayne Davis founded our company in 1977 after years of experience in the construction industry. His passion for building and serving others was evident in everything he did, from producing high-quality work to helping others in need. Throughout his life, Wayne demonstrated his commitment to integrity, hard work, and community service. He was not only a skilled builder but also a dedicated family man and a devoted member of his church and community.

Wayne was a man of strong faith and used his talents to serve others. He led several building projects for Montevallo First Baptist Church and worked on mission projects that utilized his construction skills. He believed in giving back to the community and was always willing to lend a hand. His dedication to service was further demonstrated through his work with Shelco, the first rescue service in Shelby County, and his role as a member of the Zoning Board for the City of Montevallo.

Sadly, Wayne passed away on January 24, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. However, his legacy lives on through his sons, Brad and Todd, who continue to uphold the principles that guided his life and business. Today, Wayne Davis Construction remains committed to delivering exceptional construction services and maintaining the high standards set by our founder.

Our team at Wayne Davis Construction is comprised of experienced professionals who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Each member of our team brings their unique skills and expertise to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards.

Brad Davis, our current leader, graduated from Montevallo High School in 1994 and went on to graduate from the University of Montevallo in 1998. Brad is a dedicated family man with four daughters and is actively involved in his community. He serves on the City of Montevallo Planning and Zoning Board, the City of Montevallo Water & Sewer Board, and is the Assistant Chief with the Montevallo Fire and Rescue Department. Brad is passionate about continuing his father's legacy and ensuring that Wayne Davis Construction remains a leader in the construction industry.
