Nolt's Excavating is a family-owned and operated business with over three decades of experience delivering exceptional excavating services throughout south-central Pennsylvania. Established in the late 1970s by Elam S. Nolt, the company began with humble roots - a skid steer loader and a small six-wheel dump truck - operating under the name Elam S. Nolt Skid Loader & Backhoe Service. Driven by a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, Elam built a solid reputation for reliability and skill.

Years of dedication and hard work led to the expansion of the business. Two generations later, Elam's grandsons, Josh and Vince Nolt, joined the company, bringing fresh perspectives and a continued commitment to upholding their grandfather's legacy. In 2006, the company officially transitioned to Nolt's Excavating, LLC, marking a new chapter marked by growth and diversification. The addition of new equipment, including track excavators, track loaders, skid steer loaders, and a robust fleet of trucks, significantly expanded the scope of services offered.
