Our History

Colony Builders was founded in 1980 by Bill Taylor, who has four decades of construction knowledge and a passion for building quality homes. Under Bill's leadership, our company has grown into a respected and award-winning builder in Anchorage. Our team has worked hard to master our approach to home building, and we take pride in our attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Our Team

At Colony Builders, we have a talented and dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about building homes. Our team includes experts such as Bill Taylor, our president and founder, who has spent his career building homes and communities in Anchorage. We also have Tami Taylor, our vice-president and design consultant, who is a top-producing realtor with over 37 years of experience. Our project manager, Jason Billman, has over 20 years of residential construction experience, and our in-house architectural designer, Patrick Taylor, has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality construction to our clients.
