R. G. Williams Construction Co., Inc. is a family owned business that has been building distinctive homes in Cumberland County and surrounding areas for nearly 40 years. Our longevity and solid reputation are well deserved - we work hard to please our clients!

While most builders delegate work to foremen, we are present at the home site nearly every day to provide a superior level of attention. We pride ourselves on the quality of workmanship that goes into our homes, whether they are custom built for an owner or homes we have for sale.

We're a family, just like you. R. G. Williams Construction Co., Inc. was established in 1977 by Richard G. Williams and his father John. For nearly four decades our company's main goal has been to develop a superior reputation based on quality and customer satisfaction. Not much has changed over the years, other than the addition of a few more family members. After attending college, Rick's son Kevin, brought the company full circle by joining the team twenty years later. The next addition would be four years later when Cori Williams, Kevin's wife, took on the position of office manager.

Our team is professional, knowledgeable, readily accessible and honest. Rick, Kevin and Cori will be with you every step of the way. You'll never be left to deal with random superintendents. We will be a part of your every day life. During this process our team will feel like an extension of your family.

Meet the Family

It all began with a love for creativity and the outdoors. Rick's father (John) was in the building business in the 1970's and influenced him to follow suit. With his carpentry background, business began to flourish and he decided to become a home builder. His philosophy is to be knowledgeable, understanding and honest, and then everything else will fall into place. As a result of these values, he has built for many repeat customers and made many friends out of clients. With two children and 3 grandsons of his own, Rick has always found it important to support families, whether it be chairing children's fundraisers or sponsoring local baseball teams and schools. These are values he has proudly passed on to his son.

Born and raised in Cumberland County, it's no wonder that after college Kevin returned home to join the family business. Actually, he has been involved in some capacity since he was a young boy; however, his contributions have grown significantly since then. Kevin has been described by our clients as being "honest, accessible, and eager to satisfy." After training with his father for a year Kevin earned his General Contractor's license and hit the ground running. Working together with his father has drawn great benefits for Kevin. He has learned from one of the most respected builders in the area, and after more than 20 years of experience, he has developed his own long list of satisfied customers. Kevin is our salesman, estimator, project coordinator and one and only "go to guy" for all customers. He makes the process of building a home a smooth and easy progression from beginning to end.

Also a Cumberland County native, Cori returned to the area along side Kevin after college. She has run office operations for R. G. Williams Construction since 2001. Cori is the usually the first one most clients will come in contact with. She is in charge of everyday accounting duties, billing, payables and payroll. She will also schedule your appointments when it's time for you to choose appliances, light fixtures, ceramic tile, etc. She will be your second point of contact if Kevin is unavailable.

Please visit our latest development Swans Creek Open Summer 2015 Visit our newest development in Grays Creek, NC, located just on the outskirts of Fayetteville and Hope Mills in Cumberland County. It is like nothing you'll see in the area. It is a picturesque subdivision with rolling hills and beautiful natural areas. The property features 37 generously sized home sites ranging from 3/4 acre to 3 acres in Phase I. Although the property is truly rural in nature and location, it provides easy access to I-95 making the drive to Fayetteville and Fort Bragg a comfortable one.
