Our History
Lycos, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Jon Taylor, who discovered his passion for solid surface fabrication while installing residential countertops in 2004. Since then, Lycos has expanded into two divisions: Lycos Finish and Lycos Manufacturing. We have grown to 70 employees with two locations: our office HQ in Omaha and our manufacturing facility in Treynor, IA. We currently have fabrication and installation teams across Nebraska and Iowa, including Kearney, Des Moines, Lincoln, and Omaha.
