Meet Our Team

Our team of designers is the backbone of our business. Each of our designers brings a unique perspective and skillset to the table, allowing us to provide a wide range of design services.

• Kim Hansen, Owner and Designer: Kim co-founded Absolute Design Interiors in 1998 with a vision to provide approachable and affordable design services. She is an Omaha native and studied Interior Design at Metro CC. Kim believes that good design is attainable for everyone, and she loves taking on design challenges to create out-of-the-box solutions.
• Marcia Soe, Co-Owner and Designer: Marcia joined Absolute Design Interiors in 2015 after working in the design field for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bellevue University and specializes in new construction, remodels, and commercial projects. Marcia enjoys taking on design challenges and creating spaces that her clients will love coming home to.
• Tara Stanek, Lead Designer: Tara graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She has over 8 years of experience in residential and commercial design and a passion for creating inspired spaces. When she's not designing, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, stepson, and daughter.
• Kathleen Brannon, Interior Designer: Kathleen has been designing homes for over 20 years and has a passion for textiles. She brings her ability to mix styles, time periods, and textures to create distinctive original interiors to Absolute Design Interiors. Kathleen's work is distinguished by its warmth and personal approach.
• Emily Witt, Design Assistant: Emily graduated with a degree in Art Education K-12 at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She has a background in 2D & 3D mediums, photography, and graphic design and enjoys using her past experiences to assist the designers and help clients achieve their design goals.

Our Showroom

We invite you to visit our retail showroom, full of accessories and furniture. Our showroom provides an opportunity for you to see and touch samples of the materials we use in our designs. From fabrics and tiles to lighting and furniture, our showroom has it all. Our design team is always on hand to answer any questions you may have and help you visualize how these elements can come together in your own home.
