CBI Drywall, established in 1981, is a family-owned commercial contractor dedicated to providing exceptional drywall, taping, acoustical ceiling, and rough and finish carpentry services throughout the New York Metro area. For over four decades, we've built a reputation for excellence, fueled by our unwavering commitment to every project and our team's meticulous attention to detail. Our Story

Our company's roots run deep within the New York construction industry. Founded in the 1950s by Joe Cieslewicz as Cieslewicz Brothers Incorporated, we initially focused on smaller-scale projects, establishing a reputation for quality and skilled craftsmanship. Over time, we evolved, transforming into CBI Drywall Corp. in 1986 under the leadership of Orville Hawes, who took the helm as President.

Under Orville's guidance, CBI Drywall flourished, expanding our service offerings to encompass a wider range of project types and scales, from modest retail spaces to multi-level apartment complexes and prestigious educational facilities. Today, the company is proudly owned and operated by Orville's sons, Shaun and Patrick Hawes, who bring over two decades of experience to the table. Their leadership, blending modern technology with seasoned construction expertise, continues to drive CBI Drywall's success.
