His journey began with the founding of Robert E. Vass III, LLC, a regional building company that flourished under his leadership. In 2002, Rob joined the esteemed team at Sterling Construction Management (SCM), where he rose through the ranks to President. During his eight years with SCM, he oversaw a portfolio of over two dozen prestigious projects at the Greenbrier Sporting Club, a testament to his exceptional management and construction capabilities.

This period of leadership at SCM was marked by outstanding client satisfaction, with the company achieving a 100% recommendation rating. SCM consistently ranked in the 98th percentile with Dunn & Bradstreet and maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, reflecting their unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work.
